Ron Howard to Lead Brickyard 400

Description:Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials have officially announced that Oscar winning director Ron Howard will lead the field at this year's Brickyard 400. Howard will lead the field before the July 29 race at the storied 2.5-mile track. Howards latest project is titled "Rush" and shows the Grand Prix beef between Englishman James Hunt and Austrian Niki Lauda. Speedway president Jeff Belskus says Howard is "an ideal person to pace the field." (0:48)
