Description:Regina King is making her Southland directorial debut tonight, and she stopped by our LA studios to tell us all about playing double duty. Regina has been starring on the cop drama since the first season aired on NBC in 2009 and has continued her role as Detective Lydia Adams through its move to TNT. While she's flexed her directing chops in the past, this was the first time she simultaneously worked in front of and behind the camera.
