Description:Most of us would consider an echidna a rare sight. These egg laying mammals resemble a hedgehog and are native to Australia. An albino echidna, which is even harder to find, is gaining worldwide attention. The echidna, named Casper was rescued after he was discovered on the side of the road several weeks ago.
