Protests End in Chinese Village After Promise of Talks

Description:Clearing the road in China's Wukan Village. Residents have ended their protest against local authorities who had seized farmland and for the suspicious death of a fellow villager after officials offered to hold talks. Residents had blocked the main road into the village for more than a week in protest. Residents also raised the Chinese flag, a flag they had torn down in fury.
