Police Open Fire & Kill Car Theft Suspect

Description:An investigation is underway in Long Beach after police shot and killed a car theft suspect they say shot at them at the end of a pursuit. It all began around 1 a.m., with a CHP pursuit on the southbound 405 Freeway of a BMW that had been stolen in a residential burglary in Redondo Beach. The suspect exited the freeway at Studebaker, and officers lost the vehicle, according to Marlene Arrona, of the Long Beach Police Department. (1:59)
