Description:A visiting Belgrano player was hit in the face by a truncheon as riot police tried to control rioting fans near the end of his team's 2-0 defeat at Newell's Old Boys on Friday (March 1) in Rosario. Ignacio Scocco sent the Boys in front in the 30th minute and Tobias Figueora came close to doubling the advantage three minutes after the break. Tempers flared in added time when policemen using batons and arms clashed with Belgrano supporters. (1:30)
