One Dead, One Wounded Following Wild Police Pursuit

Description:A man was killed and a woman was injured after leading police on a wild pursuit in Van Nuys Wednesday night. The pursuit began just after 9:30 p.m. when officers tried to stop a silver Nissan for a traffic violation near Van Nuys Boulevard and Parthenia Street. During the chase, the male driver began firing backwards at police, according to LAPD Sgt. Rudy Lopez. (2:06)
