One Dead, Nine Injured In Suspicious SoHo Fire

Description:After a nearly 3-hour battle, firefighters knocked down a stubborn blaze that killed one, injured nine and consumed the entire building at 41-Spring Street in SoHo Thursday evening, according to officials. Two civilians and seven firefighters were injured by the fire, which broke out around 6:40 p.m. and reached 5 alarms by 8 p.m. The injured were taken to New York Downtown Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
