Olympic Gold Medalist Ryan Lochte Banned From Wearing Grill

Description:Ryan Lochte took home the first American gold medal of the London 2012 Olympics, but his choice of accessories bothered officials. Lochte says his patriotic mouthpiece nearly cost him his gold medal. USA today reported that Lochte was told he wouldn't receive his medal if he wore the grill on the podium on Saturday. So instead, Lochte put the grill on after he got his gold for the 400-meter individual medley. Ryan wore a stars-and-stripes, jewel-encrusted "grill" across his top row of teeth. (0:54)
