Ogier Extends Lead at Rally Mexico

Description:Volkswagen driver Sebastien Ogier extended his lead to nearly three minutes Saturday (March 9) afternoon at Rally Mexico despite trouble with a closed gate. Frenchman Ogier was on his way to a three minute plus lead in his Polo R when a closed gate on Special Stage 18 forced him to stop on course while co-driver Julien Ingrassia got out of the car to open the gate. Ogier still managed to finish the day's stages with a lead of 2 minutes 52.4 seconds over second placed Mikko HIrvonen. (1:30)
