Description:North Korean runner Kim Kum-Ok of North Korea flew back home on Saturday (March 2) after winning the Asian Marathon Championship with third place in the Hong Kong Marathon. Kim timed two hours 32 mins 21 seconds to set the fastest time by an Asian runner in the february 24 race, finishing behind winner Misiker Demisse and Makda Harun, both from Ethiopia. Japan's Kumi Ogura was the next best Asian runner, finishing ninth.(3:02)
