NASA Says 2012 Was Ninth Warmest Year on Record

Description:NASA scientists say that 2012 was the 9th warmest year since records began in 1880. The announcement comes less than a week after 2012 was declared the hottest ever in the United States. The scientists say the global surface temperature was 1 degree Fahrenheit warmer than the average in the mid 20th century. And with these higher temperatures have come extreme weather conditions.
