Medical Helicopter Crashes On Way To Hospital Killing Three

Description:Three people were killed when a medical helicopter crashed Monday night. The helicopter took off from Rockford and crashed in a field near the city of Rochelle. Pilot, Andy Olson, and flight nurses, Jim Dillow and Karen Hollis, were killed. The helicopter was registered to Rockford Memorial Hospital. No patients were on board. The Lee County Sheriff says they received a call about a helicopter flying low, but no one reported seeing it go down. The cause of the crash is under investigation. (1:42)
