Description:The different languages used in Twitter messages, called tweets, were recorded and mapped out in New York City according to where in the city the tweets came from. The number one language by a large margin was English, followed by Spanish. 34 different languages were recorded among the eight and a half million tweets that were used to compile the data between January 2010 and February 2013.
