Man Charged After Elderly Mom Found Dead, Bound To Chair

Description:A 56 year old Union City man has been arrested in his mother's death after police found his 91-year-old mother slumped over in a recliner, tied to the chair. Peter Schnabel faced a judge Monday on elder neglect charges for his mother's Mildred's death early Saturday. Police say he returned to the 35th Street home he shared with his mother after working a night shift as a security guard for the Securitas Company in Jersey City. (1:29)
