Description:Tension in southeastern Turkey. Kurds hurled petrol bombs and stones at police in Hakkari as the group gathered to mark the thirteenth anniversary of the capture of Abdullah Ocalan, former head of the Kurdish Worker's Party or PKK. Police responded with water cannons and and smoke grenades which one protester returned. In Istanbul, Kurds staged a sit in after police prevented them from marching to the main square. (0:48)
