Description:It was a daring rescue Saturday, as emergency crews rushed a kayaker out of a police helicopter and into an ambulance about half an hour after he had fallen into Jamaica Bay. “I saw a man flailing around behind my house inside the water,” said Michelle Green, who immediately ran outside to see if the 32-year-old man was okay. “He said, ‘No, I’m not, I’m completely numb I can’t feel anything.’ And I said, ‘Hang on, keep your head above water we’re calling 911.’” (1:45)
