Description:A little after 10 p.m. Monday, while at the Wal-Mart in Grapevine, Texas where one of the Miami-Dade Police Department detectives stopped to use the bathroom, Alberto Morales broke off the ear piece of his eyeglasses and stabbed 28-year veteran detective Jaime Pardinas multiple times before escaping from the rental car, according to Grapevine police and Pardinas was rushed to Parkland Hospital in serious but stable condition.
