Homeowner Finds Human Remains During Renovation

Description:A backyard renovation project turned into a crime scene Sunday, when workers discovered human remains in a backyard of a home in Santa Ana. Homicide investigators and coroner’s officials cordoned off the residence in the 2500 block of North Hesperian, according to police spokesman Anthony Bertagna. He said the home — which had apparently been destroyed in a fire several years ago – was undergoing renovations and landscaping. (2:01)
