German Patriot Units Transferred to Turkish Border

Description:Turkish military officials continued to transfer German Patriot units to the Syrian border on Wednesday (January 23) as part of a NATO operation to bolster Turkey's defence against the threat of air attacks or incursions from Syria. The Patriot surface-to-air missiles are being deployed to Kahramanmaras Province in southeastern Turkey, about 100 kilometres away from the Syrian border. (0:48)
