Female Inmates Escape Prison, Caught 24-Hours Later

Description:Two missing female inmates from the York Correctional Institution were captured in Hartford Sunday night and have been charged with escape from custody, state police said. Melissa Riley, 30, of Scotland, and Jessica Rivera, 34, of Waterbury, were transported to the state police Troop E barracks in Montville and then back to the East Lyme prison after being found in a city home sometime after 8 p.m., authorities said.
