Experts Eager to Identify the Man Behind Picasso's "Blue Room"
Description:Pablo Picasso's famous 1901 painting "The Blue Room" may have more layers to it than the eye can see. Infrared scans have revealed something behind the painting from the artist's early days in Paris -- an image of a well-dressed man behind "The Blue Room." The infared scans were performed in 2008 to reveal the bearded man in a bow-tie. But who is he, and how was he connected to Picasso? Associate curator Susan Frank at Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. is trying to figure that out.(1:36)
