Emmy Flashback '02: 'Friends' Finally Wins Comedy

Description:Friends was, and continues to be, a fan-favorite. The popular sitcom was also loved by the critics, which was evident by the slew of Emmy nominations that it received, but it never took home much hardware, which made 2002 a huge year for the show. Although the show had received a few awards including Outstanding Supporting Actress for Lisa Kudrow, it didn't receive much love from the Emmys over the years, especially for the Outstanding Comedy Series award, for which it had previously been nomina (2:46)
