Elderly Man Fatally Struck By Commuter Train

Description:A pedestrian was fatally struck by a metra train in north suburban Morton Grove. The incident happened about 9:11 p.m. Friday night. The Milwaukee District North Line train was headed to Fox Lake from Chicago when it hit the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:30 p.m. He has been identified as 70-year-old Marcial Lozada, of the 2000 block of North Campbell Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
