Dozens Hurt As Train Slams Into Bus

Description:About 48 people were injured when Metro Blue Line train collided with an MTA bus near downtown Los Angeles Monday morning. The accident happened at 6:58 a.m. at the intersection of San Pedro Street and Washington Boulevard, according to fire officials. It involved an eastbound Blue Line train headed to Long Beach and a Line 51 bus headed for South L.A. The bus then collided with a light standard, knocking it to the ground and exposing some high-power electrical lines. (1:47)
