Description:The Chicago Cubs have ended their search for a new color analyst. The team hired former Houston Astros broadcaster Jim Deshaies to pair with play-by-play man Len Kasper.
Deshaies had worked as the Astros color man since 1997.
He pitched for 12 seasons in the Major Leagues, seven for the Astros.
Deshaies replaces Bob Brenly, who left the Cubs booth after eight seasons to be the color analyst for the Arizona Diamondbacks.(3:19)
