Cop Opens Fire After Nearly Being Run Down By Robbery Suspects

Description:Suspects fleeing a scene of a robbery attempted to run over a Chicago police officer, Sunday night. The officer was responding to a shoplifting call at the American Apparel store in the 100 block of E Walton in the city's Gold Coast neighborhood. The two suspects got into a vehicle and attempted to run over the officer. The officer fired shots at the car but it sped off after the shot. (1:37)
