Description:Homicides in Chicago dropped for the month of February.
Fourteen people were killed in the city last month.
That’s down from the 43 people who were killed in January and the 29 who were killed in February of last year.
CPD Superintendent Garry McCarthy says this is progress, but it’s not success.
McCarthy told WGN that February’s murder total is the lowest Chicago has ever had, for one month, since 1957.(5:19)
