Boy Scouts Sued, Accused Of Failing To Protect Boy From Pedophile

Description:A lawsuit filed Tuesday in Cook County Circuit Court accuses the Boy Scouts of failing to protect a Chicago-area scout from a known pedophile. The suit names the Boy Scouts of America and the Chicago Area Council. It says the plaintiff was molested in 1985 when he was 10-years-old by a scoutmaster who was a convicted pedophile and had already been banned from scouting in Indiana. That man, Thomas Hacker, is now serving a 100-year prison sentence in Illinois. (1:02)
