Description:Puerto Piramides is known throughout the world as the nursery of the Southern Right Whale. The water is looking increasingly murky and many more whales are washing up dead on the shore. The Southern Right whale is already an endangered species but this recent spike in whale mortality is increasingly worrying as 90% of the whales washed up are calves. (4:17)
