Thanksgiving is around the corner and before you know it, the holidays will be here. However, all the excitement of the holiday's can often be overshadowed by all that traveling, which is why we enlisted the help of Marla Malcolm Beck, CEO of Bluemercury who knows a thing or two about traveling during the holiday's. This year, Mara and her family are traveling to India in December! We asked Marla to share what she plans on bringing on her trip to avoid those traveling woes!

Layering serums:
"On the plane - for two seven hour flights - Washington, D.C. to Frankfurt to Dehli, India I will definitely go nude face. I always feel like I come off a plane with new breakouts so the key is clean and protected skin. I am going to layer two lightweight serums together. My plan is to start with M61 jet glow serum - a peptide packed glycolic serum which will keep my skin clean and clear of pesky plane breakouts. I will then use a thin layer of a hydrating serum to add a protective barrier - either Revive Fluid Superbe or m61 Hydraboost Oil Free Serum."

Protection:
"We will be out touring all day every day. Marveling at the Taj Mahal, a safari in Ranthambore, or participating in Hindu rituals at Varanasi. I am bringing SkinCeuticals SPF 50 in the tube for the kids (their favorite) and for me, I will layer La Mer SPF 50 UV protecting fluid under NARS tinted moisturizer SPF 30. I like how tinted moisturizer evens out my skin tone."

Deep cleansing arsenal:
"After a long day of touring in beautiful ancient but dusty cities the key is cleansing. M61 perfect cleanse is a gentle paraben free deep cleansing gel cleanser which is great for removing makeup dirt and grime. It is even gentle enough to use on the kids if necessary. I will also be arming myself with m61 power glow peel pads - the glycolic and salicylic acid in these deep cleansing miracle pads will keep my pores clear and unclogged. I may bring a clay mask which could double as a blemish spot treatment - such as bliss new multifaceted clay mask."

Makeup:
"During the day while traveling I usually just run with eyeliner, mascara and bronzer. NARS Night Flight pencil, Trish Mcevoy High Volume Mascara and Bobbi Brown Bronzer in medium paired with her face blender brush are enough to keep me polished for the timeless family picture. I will bring NARS Fast Ride lip for evening drama (New Years!) and Trish Mcevoy pink nude for day. I will probably also stash Laura Mercier blush lip gloss which can go over almost any lipstick!"

Emergency treatment kit:
"Fresh advanced lip therapy for chapped lips. I will bring at least three as my husband and kids love these. Kiehls midnight recovery oil for emergency dry parts of face, body or hands. And Darphin redness relief cream for any sort of rash or irritation.
