What Your Coffee Preference Says About You

Updated

Ever heard the saying, "You are what you drink?"

According to Los Angeles-based psychologist, Dr. Ramani Durvasula, author of You Are Why You Eat: Change Your Food Attitude, Change Your Life, coffee preference can suggest certain personality traits.

Dr. Durvasula conducted a survey with 1,000 coffee drinkers for the observational study to assess personality styles and psychological traits. Some of the common traits included introversion, extraversion, patience, perfectionism, warmth, vigilance, sensitivity, social audacity and more.

The participants were asked about the way they approach everyday scenarios like making weekend plans, waiting in long lines or planning dinner parties and were given a series of responses to chose from.

The results were pretty intriguing. Check out the slideshow above to learn the results of Dr. Durvasula's study.
