Tiger Woods Plans to Open a Restaurant

Read on to learn more about Tiger Woods and his first venture into the restaurant business.

As of now, Tiger Woods' restaurant is called "The Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club." The restaurant is expected to open sometime in 2015.

The restaurant is set to be a part of a new development in Jupiter, Florida called Harbourside Place. The downtown market place will feature an amphitheater, a marina, restaurants and stores.

Allied Capital and Development of South Florida said in a statement that while the property is still in the works, the restaurant is expected to be about 5,900-square-feet.

Tiger Woods explained his restaurant vision to a local paper. "I envision a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV and enjoy a good meal," Woods said. "I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could support the community."

Tiger Woods is a pro on the golf course, but now the famed athlete is shifting his focus to the main course. The world-renowned golfer has just announced that he will open up his first restaurant in Florida next year!

According to E!, the restaurant will feature outdoor seating and valet parking, and has hopes to become a go-to destination among residents down in the area of Jupiter. The 38-year-old told The Palm Beach Post he looks forward to dining at his new restaurant and hopes the public will as well.
