St. Louis Man's Amazing Pancake Art Becomes Internet-Famous

Dan Drake, a.k.a. Dr. Dan the Pancake Man, has become Internet-famous for creating his custom flapjacks, affectionately referred to as Dan-cakes, for his customers at St. Louis, Missouri-based restaurant Courtesy Diner.

In a Riverfront Times article, Dan says, "I can draw, so if I can draw it, I can probably make it in pancakes." He's created pancakes in the likeness of celebrities, meme characters and animals.

Dan started doing pancake art about four years ago and recently achieved Reddit fame when a friend posted old photos of his work, according to the Riverfront Times.
