Reese's Releases New Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread

Move over Nutella—there's a new chocolate spread in town!

Fans of the chocolate and peanut butter-filled confections will be excited to learn that Reese's now comes in a new chocolate and peanut butter spread. The spread is inspired by the classic Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Already plenty of snacking ideas come to mind. On toast, waffles, apple slices and strawberries—even celery sticks if you need a healthier excuse—there's plenty of ways to enjoy the spread. Hershey's website even offers recipe ideas that use Reese's Spread, such as a grilled peanut butter, chocolate and jelly sandwich and peanut butter chocolate cake brownies.

"Reese's Spreads offer an authentic Reese's experience to fans who are looking for delicious snack options throughout the day," said Daren Russ, Brand Manager of Food & Beverage Enhancers at The Hershey Company, in a press release. "Since 1928, we have been delivering the perfect combination of chocolate and peanut butter. With the launch of Reese's Spreads, we are honoring our great heritage and bringing consumers a new, but still perfect, way to enjoy the Reese's brand."

Reese's Spreads are available at retailers nationwide and are priced at $3.89 for a 13-ounce jar. It joins a trio of Hershey's Spreads that come in the flavors Chocolate, Chocolate with Hazelnut and Chocolate with Almond.
