Try this amazing Slow Cooker Mediterranean Chicken Recipe that will save you time and that is loaded with flavor!
browned and cooked seasoned chicken breasts
canned plum tomatoes and juice
canned chick peas, strained and rinsed
diced small yellow onion
finely minced cloves of garlic
assorted pitted Mediterranean olives
chicken stock or water
cooked brown rice
chopped fresh oregano
kosher salt, to taste
fresh cracked pepper, to taste
feta cheese, for garnish
Place all ingredients except oregano, salt and pepper in a slow cooker lined with a slow cooker liner and cook on low heat for 6 hours. Before serving add in oregano and adjust the seasonings with salt and pepper.
Serve with cooked brown rice and garnish with Feta cheese.
