The Perfect Make-Ahead Christmas Morning Brunch

Updated

Once December hits, scheduling becomes tight. There's last minute shopping, hours of wrapping and a multitude of Christmas parties to contend with. But if you're still itching to throw your hat into the party ring or grab your friends for one last hurrah before the New Year, make it a Christmas brunch. Set up a table the night before, and just get cooking and coffee brewing when morning hits.

Now, people can get pretty picky when it comes to breakfast. Some like nothing but eggs. Others hate eggs and just want lots of sweet goodness. Some like things a little in between. The best way to pull off a group brunch and keep everyone happy is to offer a collection of dishes. Guests can take a little of everything, or just grab what they really love -- offer a mixture of eggy goodness and sweet stuff like pancakes, pastries or muffins.
