Fashionable Easter Eggs

Roberto Cavali and Armanai have shown off their Easter egg game, and it's pretty impressive. The well-known brands have released beautiful Easter eggs covered in animal prints and sashes. Fortunately, the creations are edible and available for about $68 (49 euros).

Burning Off Easter Candy

That Easter candy is more caloric than you'd think. To burn off the calories from one creme-filled chocolate egg you'd have to walk for 50 minutes, run 20 minutes or complete eight minutes of metabolic training. Definitely stick to the smaller candies, because the bigger, hollow chocolate eggs can require up to an hour and fifteen minutes of walking to burn them off.

Jelly Bean Flavors

Americans buy 16 million jelly beans during Easter. Would you buy beer or tabasco-flavored ones to celebrate? Jelly Belly says its most popular flavors are Very Cherry and Buttered Popcorn.

Chili Peppers and Linguistics

Researchers are trying to determine the origin of the chili pepper with the help of linguistics and archaeology. The researchers look for a combination of linguistic and archaelogical proof to determine its origins. Genetic evidence suggests the chili comes from northeastern Mexico, but the researchers have reason to believe that the origin might be in more of a "central-east region."

Just in time for Easter, fashion houses like Roberto Cavali and Armani have designed their own fashionable eggs. Between zebra prints and pink sashes, these are not your typical Easter goodies.

Speaking of Easter chocolate, enjoy it sparingly. It takes nearly 50 minutes of walking to burn off a creme egg!

In other news, there's a beer-flavored jelly bean, chili peppers can teach you about linguistics and one family gave up sugar for an entire year and wrote about it.
