Learn How to Make Crispy Kale Chips

Over the last few years, people can't seem to get enough of kale. The leafy green vegetable seems more ubiquitous than smart phones these days.

Kale is great in salads, soups and it even makes a tasty veggie chip. Filled with fiber, iron and vitamins A, C and K, kale is a tremendously nutritious vegetable. So why not transfer some of those health benefits into a beloved snack? Instead of frying up potatoes as a side for your next dinner or serving potato chips at a get together, try a kale chip instead! The healthy benefits of a kale chip will beat a potato chip any day.

Sarah Carey makes it easy. To whip up a batch of kale chips, just drizzle torn up kale with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, then place the trays of kale into the oven. You can add the zest of lemon or even parmesan cheese to your kale chips for an extra boost of flavor.
