Jack in the Box Celebrates Halloween with a Monster Taco

The Monster Taco, last seen on Jack in the Box menus in 2009, is back by popular demand.

Fans of the crunchy item were passionate about bringing it back on the menu. They even created a Facebook group advocating its return.

As one user posted, "Two tacos for 99 cents just don't fit the bill. Monster tacos are meaty and so much more satisfying. I have been eating monster tacos for 38 years...let's bring them back."

Iwona Alter, the Division Vice President of Menu Strategy at Jack in the Box, explained, "With Halloween approaching, this is the perfect time to announce the return of our Monster Taco." But unlike other Halloween restaurant deals, the Monster Taco is here to stay. "We're not only bringing back a guest favorite, we're planning to add new variations of our Monster Taco."

The Monster Taco is a larger version of the classic Jack in the Box taco and is topped with shredded lettuce, American cheese and taco sauce. The permanent return of this dish is sure to delight fans.
