Take A Day Off!

"I would say I take every tenth day off depending on how I feel," John admits. "And every 30 or so days I’ll do absolutely nothing for two straight days!"

Find Challenge in Variety

John really enjoyed racing in the Spartan Tri-State 9-mile obstacle course, which helped to challenge him in a variety of ways. "The course was at the Mountain Creek Ski Resort and Waterpark, so essentially we navigated up and down the hill while being faced with about twenty-plus obstacles. It’s a lot of hills, mud, rope climbing, swimming and a general military-style fitness. All together it’s a great team activity. I highly recommend it."

Enjoy Healthy Foods

"I don’t really have 'guilty pleasure' foods or foods that I try to stay away from," John reveals. "The foods I enjoy eating are things like grilled plain salmon with Sriracha on the side, any type of sashimi, 22 Days Protein Bars, pressed green juices and Boku Superfood."
