Before cooking your potatoes, make a slice all the way around each potato's diameter.
Drop the potatoes into a pot of cold water.
Salt the water.
Turn on the heat and bring it to a boil and then reduce it to a simmer.
When your potatoes are tender, prepare an ice bath of ice and water and drop each potato right in.
Let it sit for about eight seconds before taking it out of the water.
The skins should slide right off in your hands.
Voila! You've peeled a potato without a peeler.
