Chef Richard Blais, a renowned author, restaurateur, TV personality and winner of Bravo's Top Chef All-Stars, has been exposed to many different types of cuisine. Not only does he have classic training in French cooking, but also grew up around common American frozen and fast food. Blais's first time professionally cooking was in the kitchen of a McDonald's. Since, Blais has developed a style surrounding these two cuisines: technical French and basic American.
