Dunkin' Donuts Adds Chocolate Croissant and Pizza Bagel to Menu

Dunkin' Donuts will roll out two new menu items in 2015—a chocolate croissant and what is essentially a pizza bagel.

The coffee chain will add a chocolate croissant to its menu after coming out with its own version of the popular croissant doughnut hybrid earlier in 2014. The chain will also include bagels topped with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and herbs as a new menu option in 2015, which is being called a Tomato Mozzarella Supreme Bagel. According to The Boston Globe, both items will be served hot and will become available at some time in the new year.

Dunkin' is also conducting a Twitter contest so fans can enter to win free coffee for an entire year.

The store frequently adds some buzz to its menu. This year Dunkin' debuted holiday-inspired snickerdoodle and sugar-cookie flavored lattes for the winter and earlier in the year came out with a Peep doughnut for Easter.
