Mike Huckabee, a Southern Baptist minister and 44th Governor of Arkansas from 1996 until 2007, is no stranger to presidential politics. He ran for president in 2008 and after a stint as a Fox News host, joined the 2016 race. He has made religious liberty a core issue of his campaign, recently appearing alongside Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who spent a brief time in jail for refusing to issue marriage licenses.

Huckabee dropped out of the race after a poor showing in the Iowa caucuses.
