J.R. Smith shared a heartbreaking Instagram post after Election Day
The morning after the American people elected Donald Trump president, it seems that the sports world has come to a standstill. Everyone is processing the results in their own way, but many people are reeling, like Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith. He actually helped to campaign for Hillary Clinton, and he's understandably upset at what this election means for himself and his loved ones.
J.R. took to Instagram with a picture of his daughter, and this was the caption:
In this political climate of frayed nerves and deep sadness, the Cavaliers will be doing their traditional White House visit to celebrate their NBA Finals win back in June. Suffice to say, it's going to feel a lot different than previous visits.
The Cavs are going to the White House tomorrow. One of them speculated they may be the last NBA team to do that for a while.
