You know Bartolo Colon. The renowned New York Mets pitcher is big, he's burly and he's every bit of his 'Big Sexy' nickname.

Before his days with the Mets, Colon was signed by the Cleveland Indians as a free agent at 20 years old and made his MLB debut in the 1997 season –- the last year the Indians competed in a World Series.

Now, he's known as 'Big Sexy.' A nickname so great, he filed to trademark it. But he hasn't always been the 'Big' half of that title.

At 43 years old, he's one of the oldest players in the league. He's had a lot of time to transform in the appearance category. But back in the day, Colon looked like a different person.

Here's what he looked back in '97:

Who knew back then that he'd transform into one of the most lovable players on an MLB roster?
