The best photos from the week in sports: 9/30 - 10/7

We've made it, everyone -- the most wonderful time of the sports year. We're four weeks into the NFL season, the MLB playoffs just began and are already insane, and both basketball are hockey are holding preseason games to get ready for their opening nights.

We also got to watch the Ryder Cup over the weekend, which the United States won, much to the joy of now-famously-single team member Rickie Fowler.
