Case Keenum's wife memorized his entire playbook for the most adorable reason

Behind every successful NFL quarterback is a woman who knows his entire playbook.

Okay, not exactly.

But for Los Angeles Rams quarterback Case Keenum, that's actually 100% true. Breakfast at the Keenum household every morning comes with a side of playbook quizzes.

"Scrambled or fried?" Case's wife Kimberly asks the quarterback as she cooks breakfast in a recent episode of 'Hard Knocks.'

"Scrambled is fine," he says.

Her next sentence is exactly that –- a mixture of scrambled words. These rattled off phrases may sound like jibberish, but Kimberly is calling out plays directly from the Los Angeles Rams' playbook.

She learned the playbook so she could help Case practice.

"It's fun for me to learn the plays too and hear what he's actually saying in the huddle," Kimberly said.

Case and Kimberly Keenum went to high school together and were engaged by the end of his college career at Houston. Other than 'Hard Knocks,' the couple keeps a low-profile, spotlight-free life. Kimberly's social media accounts are private, but in 'Hard Knocks,' she is one of the star wives of the show. She explains the game of football to other women in the stands and hosts them in her home while their husbands are at camp.

This may be the first time the world is catching wind of Kimberly's hospitality, but this is nothing new for Case. He credits it as a reason he knew she was so special.

"It's one of the big reasons we're married today," Case said about Kimberly when he tore his ACL in college.

"I realized how much she loved me. She showed it. I don't think I could have gotten that from anybody else."

Learning her husband's playbook is certainly an act of love in itself.
