There are three core rules to the game of football. No helmet-to-helmet contact, no deflating footballs and absolutely no lasers on the field.

A college football game between Baylor and Rice on September 16 saw one of those rules tragically broken. Someone in the stands had a laser pointer. And, god help us all, they shined it on the field.

The scorn and disappointment in Gautreaux's voice is palpable. He's saying "Refrain from shooting lasers" but he's thinking "I want to go home."

Take it from this ref, you guys. Refrain from shooting lasers.
